Our clinical team is a cadre of professionals possessing certification by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board as BCBAs or BCaBAs. As such, they specialize in the application of behavior analytic technology to wide ranging situations including student skill development, reduction of problem behavior, engineering and refining learning environment, identification of naturally occurring controlling variables in external (e.g. community) settings and development of adult learning models for staff training. Application of behaviorally-based assessment tools including the ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP and the TTAP.
Utilization of the most current functional behavioral assessment strategies, including functional analysis.
Employment of evidence -based treatment strategies that reduce problem behavior by teaching functional and prosocial replacement skills.
Detailed analysis of student peformance data and modification of teaching strategies and/or program components to facilitate learning.
Analysis and teaching of verbal behavior according to BF Skinner's verbal behavior taxonomy and principles of ABA.
Ecological analysis of physical environmental variables that influence student and staff performance.
Staff training using behavior analytic principles including in-situ feedback and behavior skills training.
Internship and supervision opportunities for college students in ABA programs and those pursuing BCBA or BCaBA certification
Professional consultation with outside agencies and school districts through Outreach Consulting Services.
Interdiciplinary collaboration with Speech and Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists and Curriculum Specialists.
