In addition to the school, children and adults are served through our outreach, respite, Employment and Training Center (ETC) and group homes.  Programs, employment opportunities and activities are designed to help the people we serve utilize their unique gifts and talents, to help them grow as individuals, and lead more fulfilling and meaningful lives.  The Allegro Employment & Training Center (ETC) is located in Morris Plains, minutes away from Allegro School.  

At the Allegro ETC, we provide:

We, at ALLEGRO ETC, believe that every client has a skill that can be utilized and further expanded to lead a more fulfilling and productive life.   The list above are examples of what we provide at our center and in the community for the people we serve.  At Allegro, each person is recognized as a unique individual with their own unique gifts and abilities.  Learning experiences and activities are designed to help the individuals we serve grow as an individual and contribute to their own well-being.  

Fulfilling Work

Opportunities include job sampling, job training, volunteer work, recreational activities and employment.  We have partnered with over 40 different businesses and organizations to give our clients the chance to experience settings outside our center. We encourage our clients to maximize their independence, explore a variety of work areas, and learn new skills from the most basic task to a complex multi-step project. We take pride in our clients and their progress. Care and respect for each individual is always our number one priority.
