Allegro School recently recieved a $7,500 grant from the Provident Bank Foundation that helped fund iPads for students.
Allegro’s Executive Director Deborah Lewinson stated that since Allegro School opened its doors in 1989, the focus has been placed on the educational program, community-based and respite services, adult day program, and residential services. The Allegro School program uses ABA methodologies emphasizing positive programming, Lewinson said Allegro School re-opened in September as a hybrid model including in-person, virtual, and in-home instruction. Thanks to the Provident Bank Foundation grant, she said, all Allegro School students now have access to their own iPad.
